Psalm 139:23-24 (TPT)
“God, I invite your searching gaze into my heart. Examine me through and through; find out everything that may be hidden within me. Put me to the test and sift through my anxious cares. See if there is any path of pain I’m walking on, and lead me back to your glorious, everlasting way-the path that brings me back to you.”
Read this passage and ask yourself these questions:
What anxious cares am I carrying around today?
The Word says to “Cast all your cares upon Him because He cares for you.”
Am I walking any “path of pain” from hurts in my life?
The Word says, “Who the Son sets free is free indeed.”
What is God’s everlasting, glorious way?
Righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. That’s the kingdom of God.
This is the way. This is the path that brings us back to our Father!
Embrace His righteousness, in which you are clothed, as a follower of Jesus Christ! You are holy because He has made you holy!
Cast your cares upon Him…receive His peace.
Forgive so that you will be forgiven, surrender any hurts to Him. He already bore them on the cross for you. He died for the sins of the whole world which include all your sins and those sins that were committed against you. So, embrace His joy!
You are already righteous! You already have His peace! You already possess His joy!
Shine Your light, Holy Spirit, and illuminate those places that we need to surrender to You in order to walk in Your perfect way!
