I Corinthians 6:1

“He says: “In an acceptable time I have heard you, And in the day of salvation I have helped you.” Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.”

The word salvation in this scripture is translated from the Greek word “soteria,” which is a derivative of the word “sozos.” It means to be rescued, safe, saved, made whole, healed, preserved…by our Deliverer, Jesus Christ.

God is saying to you today, “What are you waiting for?” Now, the present moment, is a good time to turn to God-receive and accept His salvation, His healing, let Him finally set you free of all those things that have been weighing you down.

Let go of pride (self-consciousness, self-importance, know-it-all attitude) and stubbornness (dogged determination not to change one’s attitude or position on something) and surrender all of yourself to Jesus…now, today.

Perhaps you’ve “been saved,” but you’re still holding onto physical ailments due to unbelief. Believe for your healing, today. By His stripes we are healed.

Perhaps you’re still struggling with past trauma, neglect, abuse, unforgiveness, bitterness, bad memories, insecurity, and more. Allow Holy Spirit to shine a light in those dark places and be set free…today!

Father, I thank You for sending Jesus, my Deliverer and my Lord and Savior. I open my heart completely to You today. Holy Spirit, shine in my dark places, set me free. I apply the blood of Jesus over my life for salvation, healing of my body and my soul, right now. I humble myself before you, Lord and turn my eyes upon You, the Author and Finisher of my faith. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
