Isaiah 43:18-19

“But forget all that— it is nothing compared to what I am going to do. For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.”
I’m sitting here this morning with a grateful heart. I’m filled with gratitude to the Lord for all things He has done in my life. For the ways He has blessed me and my family. For the moving and power of the Holy Spirit in our lives. For the new levels of freedom in Jesus we have been experiencing as a family. For the peace in our home and the beautiful relationships that we have with one another. For the women He has placed in my life to mentor to and be mentored by. For healing, financial freedom and for this supernatural love He has deposited in me. I’m literally overwhelmed by His goodness, His love and His mercy and grace.
But what Yahweh is saying to me today is, “You just wait! The things I have already done in your life are nothing compared to what’s coming! You can see My hand has already begun to work in new ways, on a grander scale. I will clear the way for greater miracles, more freedom, more boldness, more people to be saved, healed and delivered. What has appeared to be dead and barren places, wilderness and wasteland will come alive. You just wait and see!”
God is doing a new thing in the Body of Christ right now. He is pouring out His Spirit on all who are willing to be used by Him in these last days. He is freeing His people from the oppressive influence of the enemy. He is raising up an army of Jesus-loving, Satan-stomping, bold-in-the-Holy Spirit soldiers to snatch lost and broken people from the grip of despair and hopelessness.
So let’s lay aside every weight and sin that easily distracts us and takes our focus off the One thing. Don’t be discouraged, but look back on what the Lord has done in your life and recognize His faithfulness. Open up completely to Jesus. Allow Him to clear out the junk and debris from your heart, mind and your past. Be free from the oppressor. Ask Him to search your heart and see if there’s anything in there that is not pleasing to Him or causing a block to the flow of the Holy Spirit through you. He wants to do a new thing in your life!
Father, I thank you for all the ways you have kept me safe and blessed me in my life. I pray that you would bring to my attention areas of my life that need to be cleared out, whether from past trauma, abuse, neglect, bad choices, stupid mistakes, disobedience, unforgiveness, words spoken over me, etc. Set me free from the things that are holding me back from this new thing that You are doing in your Church. Pour out Your Spirit in every area of my life. I put on the full armor of God so that I may stand against the tactics of the enemy each day. Thank you for what You’re about to do in me and through me. In Jesus’ name.
