I originally created my blog to share my own personal story, to use what I have gone through to help and encourage others. It has been a very successful endeavor. Some time ago, I began to think…If MY story can help so many, what could other women’s stories do? God has placed it in my heart to become a story teller, the voice of those who want their stories told.
About a year ago, God was really impressing on my heart to share my story. I receive daily devotionals from Proverbs 31 ministry. One day, I opened the devotional from Proverbs 31 and it said, “Will You Share Your Story?” (Please take a moment and click on the link and read what Lysa wrote). That was my sign. Will this be yours too? Will you tell your story so other women can look at you and say, “Me too, me too?”
There is POWER in the telling of YOUR story, for you and every other woman who reads it. Sharing your story helps to liberate others. Sharing your story tells others they are not crazy, not shamed, not worthless, not hopeless, not alone. Stories of hope, faith, grace and the love of God.
I am collecting stories, your stories. Real life, true tales of abuse, infidelity, regret, loss, redemption, restoration, love and more. These stories will become part of a series on my blog called, “My Story.” Each story will be published over 1-2 weeks. Names, dates, locations, etc will be changed, it will be completely confidential. The purpose of sharing is to encourage and give hope, not condemn. Do you want your voice to be heard? If interested, contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
What’s your story about His glory?
Stay tuned for the first story in just a few days. Be sure to subscribe to my blog so you will receive notification of the newest post when it is published. And share this post with your friends!
